Greenland volatility & Regional Banks 260120

Greenland volatility is gripping the markets. If you share my cynically optimistic outlook, you likely view these shifts as a moment to re-evaluate entry points rather than a reason to retreat.

In Episode 508 of the Wealthsteading Podcast, I outlined why Regional Banks (KRE) are positioned for a move. The current selloff only reinforces my rationale.

Key Observations on KRE:

  • Historical Context: The long-term chart shows a steady, albeit tortuous  recovery since 2008. While the 2022 breakout was interrupted by the Silicon Valley Bank event, the underlying recovery trend remains worth watching.
  • Cyclical Patterns: Historically, Regional Banks have outperformed following major tariff-related shifts. I believe we are seeing a similar setup today.
